1
Hi, I'm Mila Kunis, and this is everything I eat in a day.
2
When I first wake up in the morning and I open my eyes, I get up because I have to get my kids ready for school.
3
But on a Monday through Friday, I now have to set an alarm.
4
My kids used to be the alarm where they would wake me up, and now they don't.
5
So what do I do?
6
I roll over, I press snooze once, and then I roll back to sleep for like five more minutes.
7
And then the bedroom goes, beep, beep, beep, beep.
8
And then I roll over and I wake up, and my bedroom goes through the bathroom.
9
And sometimes, or oftentimes, I have to go tinkle.
10
So that's what I do, I go tinkle.
11
Sometimes I brush my teeth before I enter the kitchen, because once I enter the kitchen, I gotta get their lunches ready, I gotta get their breakfast ready.
12
So I like to brush my teeth, tinkle, enter kitchen, start process.
13
The first thing I eat when I wake up is coffee.
14
But I do have a very specific way that I like my coffee.
15
Ugh, but it's gonna make me sound like a , whatever.
16
I like drip coffee, like old school drip coffee, nothing fancy, but my creamer, I'm very specific about.
17
This is not an ad, it's not even organic, okay?
18
People, don't get mad at me.
19
It's silk oat milk creamer, and they have two flavors.
20
They have vanilla or oatmeal cookie.
21
I like the vanilla silk oat milk creamer, very specific, and here's why, because I got my frother from Amazon, and I pour my creamer in,
22
and I froth my creamer, and it becomes beautiful and delicious and vanilla -y and sweet, and then I pour my morning coffee in there, and it is wonderful.
23
So I don't eat first thing in the morning, and I don't know when that's shifted, because I used to, and now I kind of wait until two hours after I have my coffee, so call that, let's say,
24
I have coffee at 6 .30, take the kiddos to school, whatever, do that whole thing, I'm back at 8 .30, I probably eat around 9, 9 .30.
25
My typical breakfast sometimes is the leftovers that my children didn't eat from the morning, and I have this thing against wasting food, and so I'll eat their leftovers,
26
which isn't always satiating, so I'll always finish it off with avocado toast that I make myself.
27
When I make my own avocado toast, I like to make sure to grab bread that I have.
28
So whatever I have is what we're using, and a lot of times it's something healthy because,
29
again, I have children, and so you try to do as much as you can.
30
So it's like a Dave's Killer Bread, right?
31
Like we have one of those.
32
And so it'll be like some whole grain bread with like nuts and things and texture and crunch.
33
So I grab that.
34
More times than not I'm running late so I don't have time to toast it.
35
But let's go with the theory that I have magic time.
36
I toast it.
37
I then grab my avocado.
38
I cut it, scoop it, I'll smash it.
39
And then sometimes I like to put a little everything but the bagel seasoning on top of it.
40
And then if I'm feeling extra feisty, I might put an egg on it or I like dips
41
so I sometimes do like this will make no sense
42
but I'll do like two eggs over easy
43
and then I'll do like a piece of toast
44
and then I'll put like little dips on them
45
and sometimes it's hummus
46
and sometimes I don't know I like tzatziki it's whatever like little salads like whatever I have
47
so normally I work so I then go and I plop myself down in front of a computer nowadays, and then we Zoom.
48
Maybe if I'm lucky, I go grab something to eat, like a fruit or a string cheese, but more time than not, I don't have that time.
49
Somehow, lunch surpasses me by.
50
Now my husband and I are working at home, and so if one of us doesn't have an afternoon something or other, the other one grabs food for the other person, so we'll mishmash something together out of the fridge.
51
Leftovers, let it be, or something small and quick.
52
Even like a protein smoothie.
53
Like, I do have, there's like a service that comes and delivers smoothies to your house.
54
It's frozen.
55
You put it in the freezer.
56
It's really convenient.
57
I stick it out, or my husband does it, pours in like a non -dairy milk for me, and then a protein powder.
58
And then we smoothie it up, and then he drops it off at my table, and I'm super grateful.
59
So it's probably not healthy if you're a dietician, but sometimes I have a protein smoothie for lunch.
60
What do I cook?
61
Um, boy, sometimes I do something I call bowl night, where it's like, make your own bowl.
62
And I do two bases, and there'll be a salad base and a grain base, like quinoa, and then I'll just chop up a bunch of vegetables and cook a bunch of stuff,
63
and then you make your own veggie bowl, so to speak.
64
My kid is a pescatarian, she does not eat meat, so because she doesn't eat meat, neither does my husband.
65
And so, I don't cook two separate meals, because I'm not a restaurant it's oftentimes much easier for me just to do a fish
66
and a healthy meal throughout the week.
67
So that's kind of what we do.
68
So I do salmon, fishes.
69
There's a service that I use, guys.
70
You can pick like two meals, two dinners a night or whatever, and they send you all the groceries for said meal with like a recipe.
71
So I do that twice a night, or twice a week, and it's been lovely.
72
Okay, so I'm also super fortunate.
73
I have a mom that lives like 15 minutes away from me.
74
I mean, with my dad, but my mom.
75
And my mom is an incredible cook.
76
and has cooked her whole life.
77
I never went out to eat.
78
I always had home -cooked meals.
79
And she loves, she still thinks that she's cooking for four people when really it's just her and my dad.
80
And so when I kinda had kids, she started like cooking for all of us.
81
So once a week she drops off food at our house and it's always like, you know, unbelievable food that my mom makes.
82
Russian meals is like a lot of food, just at all times.
83
The obvious, you can start with primeni, you can start with vareniki.
84
Then you can do borscht, which is like a very Russian -y soup, also made of beets.
85
But if you don't like beets, don't eat it.
86
The Russians like smoked fish, or fish in general, pickled fish, smoked fish.
87
Russians or Ukrainians, I know, we're living in a time where I don't even know what to call myself anymore.
88
They like to pickle things, mostly because we had winters, and so that's how you survive, is by pickling food.
89
So we pickle everything.
90
My mom's a master pickler.
91
If you've never tried pickled watermelon, it's delicious.
92
Smoked herring, delicious.
93
You eat it with some warm potatoes, a little olive oil, a little dill, a little salt, yummy, yummy.
94
But my mom, man, she can make a chicken soup.
95
There is something about her chicken soup, or to be more specific,
96
her chicken broth, the broth of her chicken soup is unlike anything that I've ever been able to recreate.
97
By the way, she cooks like, meh, just a little bit of this, a little bit of that, and then there's that, and you kind of like, meh, taste it.
98
So it's not like you're ever gonna get an actual measurement out of her, but however she makes her broths, they're just extraordinary.
99
She makes amazing beef stroganoff.
100
She's the more meat cooker, and everything that she cooks has dill in it.
101

103

104

105
So I order groceries from there.
106
I supplement sometimes from the grocery store.
107
I am fortunate enough where my father -in -law gifted me, like, salmon and cod that's freshly cut from Alaska.
108
And they deliver it in a flash -frozen refrigerator thing.
109
It's not, like, crazy expensive either, by all means
110
and I stick it in the freezer
111
and then we have like this amazing fish for a year
112
or half a year oh and on Fridays I like to say it's leftover day
113
and so my husband has to it's just it's a everything
114
but the kitchen sink meal
115
and that's what he gets he gets all the leftovers to
116
clear out the whole fridge we eat dinner all as a
117
family oh we order out from everywhere I love to order food
118
