Lo scenario: una festa con costumi divertenti

Il video ci porta in una festa dove gli invitati indossano costumi strani e divertenti: un dinosauro che mangia pollo, una regina con un bicchiere, un orso che si toglie la testa... La conversazione è perfetta per esercitarti a capire il parlato quotidiano, con domande, risposte e descrizioni semplici ma realistiche. È il tipo di situazione in cui potresti trovarti tu stesso, quindi imparare a seguire e ripetere questi dialoghi ti aiuterà a parlare inglese con più confidenza!

Frasi utili e collocazioni da memorizzare

  • "Who's the...?" e "That's...": Per chiedere e dire chi è qualcuno. Esempio: "Who's the dinosaur? That's Michael."
  • "The one who's...": Per descrivere una persona tra altre. Esempio: "The one who's laughing" o "The one with the long hair".
  • "He's wearing...": Per parlare di cosa indossa qualcuno. Esempio: "He's wearing green tights" o "Her hat is a pizza".
  • "Do you know...?": Per chiedere se qualcuno conosce una persona. Esempio: "Do you know the man in the big shoes?"
  • "What about...?": Per passare a un altro argomento. Esempio: "What about the bear? That's my uncle."

Cos'è la tecnica dello Shadowing?

Shadowing è una tecnica di apprendimento delle lingue supportata da studi scientifici, originariamente sviluppata per la formazione dei traduttori professionisti e resa popolare dal poliglotta Dr. Alexander Arguelles. Il metodo è semplice ma potente: ascolti un audio in inglese di madrelingua e lo ripeti immediatamente ad alta voce — come un'ombra che segue il parlante con un ritardo di solo 1–2 secondi. A differenza dell'ascolto passivo o degli esercizi di grammatica, lo shadowing costringe il tuo cervello e i muscoli della bocca a elaborare e riprodurre simultaneamente i modelli di discorso reale. La ricerca dimostra che migliora significativamente la precisione della pronuncia, l'intonazione, il ritmo, il discorso connesso, la comprensione dell'ascolto e la fluidità del parlato — rendendolo uno dei metodi più efficaci per la preparazione alla prova di speaking dell'IELTS e per la comunicazione reale in inglese.
