7
We went on a trip to an art gallery today, and I've got lots of questions to answer about what we saw there.

I'll get a later bus and see you there about five, OK?

4. What should the girl avoid eating?
44
So if my teeth are OK, what do you advise?
45
First of all, don't worry.
46
I'm sure it's not serious, and it certainly isn't caused by eating fruit.
47
I don't know why anyone would think that.
48
Or a few biscuits occasionally.
49
You generally eat a very healthy diet.
50
It might be a good idea to give up ice cream for a week or two.
51
You'll probably find that that'll help.
52
And use this mouthwash regularly.
53
Come and see me after three weeks if you're still having problems.

Now listen again.

We walked to the top of the mountain.
71
It was unbelievably cold.

We really needed our thick jackets, but the light was so strong, we had to wear sunglasses.

We could see the waterfall on the other side of the valley, with mist at the bottom of it.

Ascolta questi suoni

Nelle conversazioni, noterai esempi di connected speech (parola collegata) come "I'll go" pronunciato come /aɪl goʊ/ o "it'll finish" come /ɪtəl ˈfɪnɪʃ/.

Esercizio extra

Ripeti le domande e le risposte del video, focalizzandoti su frasi come "What should the girl avoid eating?" o "Which sport does the girl prefer?".
