Today I am at the Great Wall of China and it is really great.

I mean, this is my first time being here.

After all the time that I've spent in China, I've never been here before.

You see pictures of this place all the time.

You know, when I was learning Chinese and studying Chinese history, I would always have textbooks covered with the Great Wall of China.

But it is totally different to see it in person, see it in real life with your own eyes.

I just love looking at this view, watching the wall disappear into the mountains.

But getting up here was definitely much more difficult than I anticipated.

You don't realize just how steep everything is until you're standing right at the bottom

and you have to basically crawl on your hands and knees to get up to the top.

But it was definitely worth it.

It was tiring.
