Forma e uso

the reason for, a solution to, an increase in — substantivos com preposição fixa

1.A estrutura

3.Increase in ou increase of?

  • in + aquilo que muda: an increase in prices, a fall in sales.
  • of + o tamanho da mudança (um número): an increase of 10%, a drop of 5,000 visitors.
  • Dá para usar os dois: a rise of 20% in the price of rice.
