Unit 9: Festivals Around the World.

Hello, everyone.

Today, I would like to talk about festivals around the world.

I think festivals are very important because they bring people together.

At festivals, people can enjoy many interesting activities.

wear beautiful costumes, try special food, and learn about different cultures.

There are many famous festivals around the world such as the Tulip Festival, Christmas?

Halloween?

Easter, Thanksgiving and Rio Carnival.

I think the Tulip Festival is one of the most colorful festivals.

People can see beautiful tulip fields, watch parades, take photos, and enjoy folk dances.

Some people wear traditional costumes and join the festival activities.

In Vietnam, Thet is the most important and popular festival.

It usually takes place in January or February.

Before Tet, people clean and decorate their houses.

They also buy flowers, prepare special food, and make bancheung.

During Tet, my family members get together and have a big meal.

We visit our relatives and friends.

Children often receive lucky money from adults people also give good wishes to each other.

I like Tet because it is a happy time for family members to meet and relax.

Last year, I joined the Mid -Autumn Festival with my friends.

We watched lion dances, carried lanterns, and ate mooncakes.

It was very exciting and enjoyable.

In my opinion, festivals are meaningful because they help us keep traditions and understand other cultures better.
