1
hey my friend welcome back to the slow english podcast i'm
2
so happy you're here in our last episode we talked about
3
how small changes can make a big difference sometimes little things like one kind word one deep breath
4
or one small choice can change how we feel how we think and how we live So,
5
today, I want to share with you three things I do every morning to make my day feel full of energy.
6
These habits are simple, but they help me feel strong, calm, and ready.
7
Let's begin.
8
So, the first practice is to practice gratitude.
9
Right?
10
So, most of the time, we are not happy with the life that we have gotten.
11
We think my life is terrible, right?
12
This is worthless.
13
I'm not worth living.
14
But when you practice gratitude, the first thing that you can do is to be grateful for your life.
15
Every morning when I wake up, I don't grab my phone.
16
I don't rush out of bed.
17
Instead, I close my eyes for a few seconds.
18
I take a deep breath, and I say in my heart, I am thankful for today.
19
I think about the things I'm lucky to have.
20
My breath, my home, my family, and my chance to learn and grow.
21
So, be grateful for every person who is living around you.
22
Okay, there are many people who have taught you many lessons, good or bad.
23
Some good people have given you nice memories, and some bad people have taught you good lessons in your life.
24
Be grateful for everyone, no matter who the person is it doesn't matter, right?
25
I'm grateful for every experience that life has given me, that made me strong and taught me many lessons.
26
Even if my life is not perfect, I try to see the good.
27
Sometimes we forget the simple gifts we have, like clean water, fresh air, or someone who cares about us.
28
And then, I think about people in my life.
29
I say thank you to those who helped me.
30
Even people who hurt me, they taught me something too.
31
Gratitude is powerful.
32
It makes your heart softer.
33
It helps your mind feel clear.
34
So, every morning, take one or two minutes.
35
Say thank you. Be grateful.
36
It's a beautiful way to begin.
37
The second thing I do is something called mindfulness.
38
Mindfulness means, I am here.
39
I know what I am doing.
40
I pay attention.
41
It's about living in the present, not in the past, not in the future.
42
In the morning, I sit down.
43
I close my eyes.
44
I breathe slowly in and out.
45
In and out.
46
I listen to my breath.
47
I feel my body.
48
Sometimes, I just sit quietly.
49
Sometimes I walk slowly and feel my steps.
50
You don't need to sit like a monk.
51
You don't need a yoga mat or soft music.
52
All that you have to do is to be mindful or to focus your mind on what you are doing.
53
You only need your breath.
54
You only need your attention.
55
Maybe like if you are walking, just know that you are walking.
56
Be mindful about it.
57
Pay attention to it.
58
Okay?
59
Or sit in a quiet place.
60
Or sit in a relaxed place.
61
Sit on a chair.
62
Maybe sit in the meditation posture and just focus on the in -breath
63
and the out -breath how you breathe start with five minutes just breathe Feel this moment.
64
It will help you feel calm, clear, and focused.
65
When you practice mindfulness, you give your mind a break.
66
You stop the busy thoughts.
67
You return to now.
68
And now is where your power lives.
69
Okay, that is one practice that you can practice to be mindful.
70
And the final practice is to have positive self -talk.
71
Instead of positive self -talk, what are we doing?
72
We talk negatively to ourselves.
73
We think and talk to ourselves
74
negatively i'm not good enough nobody likes me i can't do it or i don't have any value in this life
75
but this is not helpful this makes your mind tired this makes your heart feel small
76
be careful what you think it will become what you do be careful what you do it will become a habit
77
and it will make your inner personality more negative to think more negatively
78
so what we can do is take a little time in the day to have positive self -talk with ourselves
79
so you should change the words you speak to me.
80
Let's look in the mirror and say, I believe in me.
81
I am learning.
82
I am strong.
83
I can grow.
84
I am worthy of loving and living.
85
My life is great, and I can do many things.
86
I can be more productive than I am.
87
These words are simple, but they are powerful.
88
When you speak kindly to yourself, you feel stronger.
89
When you believe in yourself, you start to do better.
90
It's like giving water to a plant.
91
Slowly, the plant begins to grow.
92
So, talk to yourself with love.
93
Talk to yourself like a best friend.
94
Practice these little simple practices in your day and make your life a better one.
95
Every morning, I do three simple things.
96
I say thank you for life.
97
I take a few minutes to breathe and be present.
98
I practice having positive self -talk.
99
These are small habits.
100
But when I do them every day, I feel more alive.
101
I feel more focused.
102
I feel more ready for the day.
103
You don't need money.
104
You don't need special tools.
105
You only need your mind, your breath, and your heart.
106
You are not too late.
107
You are not behind.
108
Every morning is a new chance.
109
Every small choice matters.
110
So tomorrow morning, try one of these habits.
111
And the next day, try again.
112
Slowly, your energy will grow.
113
Your joy will grow.
114
Your life will grow.
115
I believe in you.
116
I'm Tom.

122
And never stop growing.
123
Goodbye for now.
