1
Good morning, it's Chica.
2
Happy Monday.
3
Hope you guys had a great weekend.
4
Cheers.
5
So today I wanted to take a moment to remind you guys and myself that it's okay to just be.
6
Happy Monday episodes are usually about, you know, being conscious and intentional and doing a little bit better each day.
7
I love sharing that kind of inspiration with you and just waking up together.
8
But at the same time, obviously we're human and not every Monday is a happy Monday.
9
We have bad Mondays too.
10
And we have bad days.
11
We have bad hair days, bad mood days, right?
12
It's part of human nature and life.
13
And I don't think you guys get to see that part of me as often, but I obviously have those days too.
14
And what I think about on days like that is I think there are two things I do.
15
One is accepting the reality and being okay with it.
16
And I think that comes from recognizing that yes, I love self -improvement and I love thinking and doing it better next time.
17
I love all that.
18
But I also make sure to understand that it's okay to not be anything.
19
You can be anything you want, anything you put your mind to, you can do.
20
I do have that mindset
21
but on the other end I'm like I don't have to be anything either
22
and I'm still worthy and if you don't have
23
that it's going to be hard when you have times
24
when you can't get better because there are times like that
25
when you feel stuck and when you feel helpless and
26
if you don't understand and know
27
that that's okay then you're just going to keep kind of digging yourself in a hole I can be anything
28
but I don't have to be anything and
29
that kind of gives me peace of mind especially doing
30
you know this kind of work where I have a lot of interaction with people
31
and there's opinions there might be expectation there
32
that I have to be successful I have to do these things right
33
but then I always have to have this side where it's like no you don't have to be anything
34
and you're still chica and you're still okay so
35
that balance is really important for me so
36
when I have a bad day I kind of balance it out with
37
that it's okay to have a bad day
38
and I am still worthy even if I'm not doing great just existing is enough
39
and the other thing I do is I zoom in what
40
that means is I don't think about tomorrow
41
I don't think about next week I don't think about five years down the road
42
I do not think about the future
43
I zoom in to write what's right in front of me in the present
44
and I just get that one little thing done because I notice through lots of journaling and introspection.
45
You start to see patterns in yourself.
46
And so I noticed that, oh, when I have a bad day, I'm kind of in this state and I get scattered.
47
So sometimes it's like, you don't have to think about anything.
48
Just go to the grocery store, get the groceries for tonight's dinner.
49
You don't have to do any more.
50
And then I think about the next thing after I get that one thing done.
51
And that helps me kind of get to the next step.
52
And then when I'm feeling motivated and inspired, that's when I start like opening up my lens and zooming out
53
and looking at the future so depending on my mood for
54
that day I like adjust my lens to what I'm gonna focus on
55
and what I'm not gonna focus on and that helps me a lot
56
because I do have days
57
when I just have too much going on I'm too tired I'm busy
58
and so I'm like okay time to zoom in my lens okay go get the eggs go get the milk
59
and then I do it and I'm like okay one thing done
60
and that makes me feel lighter and better
61
and I'm okay what's next zoom in on
62
that next thing I don't think about the next day I don't think about next week
63
or anything remotely in the future maybe the next 30 minutes is all I think about
64
and then gradually you kind of see yourself getting out of your slump
65
and then getting a little motivated again
66
so I think those are the two things that I do
67
when I'm kind of feeling low tell myself it's okay just
68
because you're not doing great today does not mean anything like I can be nothing
69
and still be completely me that helps
70
and then the other thing is zooming in not trying to do a lot
71
and not trying to think about a lot not trying to achieve anything
72
and then before you know it you're kind of like okay
73
I'm back to my normal state you know there's obviously other things like usually
74
when I'm not feeling motivated I'm usually tired so I will make sure to get a good night's sleep.
75
Sometimes I have too much in my mind
76
so I'll watch a reality TV show on Netflix to get my mind off of it.
77
I do those things too but in my mind those are the things that are going on, the two things that I shared.
78
The thing with like reality TV
79
and those things it helps you like get out of
80
that mood but you also have to kind of deal with it after
81
so I like to just deal with it in my mind first and be like it's okay.
82
and just focus.
83
Yeah, I get that question a lot, like what I do when I'm feeling down, and so I wanted to share those two things with you,
84
and hopefully that helps you if you're having a bad Monday and not a happy Monday, because I have those two, and it's all right.
85
We'll get through it.
86
I mean, I think I shared you'll be okay with you before.
87
Today I wanted to give you a little bit more context to that you'll be okay.
88
Why you're gonna be okay?
89
Because it's okay to just exist and you don't have to do anything.
90
We're still worthy of existing.
91
And that's a fact.
92
It's a fact.
93
Nobody can deny that you exist.
94
Yeah, I hope that inspired you a little bit, woke you up a bit.
95
Let's just be and relax a bit and breathe a bit and just enjoy being here.
96
例えば I'm worthy.
97
I'm worthy.
98
I'm worthy.
99
Worthy worth Do you know how much that watch is worth?
100
It's worth it.
101
It's worth a try.
102
Oh, the trip was so expensive, but it was worth it.
103
The line is huge in front of that donut shop, but it is worth the weight.
104
The donuts are delicious.
