went, saw, took… — अनियमित क्रिया से बीते समय का पूरा हुआ काम
1.अनियमित क्रियाएँ क्या होती हैं
कई सबसे आम क्रियाओं में -ed नहीं जुड़ता। उनका अपना past रूप होता है, जिसे अक्सर V2 कहा जाता है (अनियमित क्रियाओं की तालिका का दूसरा कॉलम): go → went, see → saw, buy → bought। V2 रूप हर कर्ता के साथ एक जैसा रहता है।
इनका प्रयोग बिल्कुल नियमित क्रियाओं की तरह होता है: past में किसी समय पर पूरे हो चुके काम के लिए (पाठ “Past simple: -ed, did / didn't” देखें)।

सबसे ज़रूरी बात: V2 रूप (went, saw, bought) सिर्फ़ सकारात्मक वाक्यों के लिए है। जैसे ही did / didn't आता है, क्रिया वापस मूल रूप में आ जाती है: I didn't go, Did you see…? — “didn't went” या “did you saw” नहीं।
2.आम अनियमित क्रियाएँ
एक ही तरह से बदलने वाले समूहों में इन्हें याद रखना आसान होता है।

200 क्रियाओं की सूची एक साथ रटने की कोशिश न करें। ऊपर की लगभग 50 क्रियाएँ रोज़ की ज़्यादातर बातचीत के लिए काफ़ी हैं। हर शाम 5–6 past वाक्यों में अपने दिन की कहानी सुनाने की कोशिश करें: I got up at six, I had noodles, I took the bus…
3.V2 या V3? और आसानी से उलझने वाली जोड़ियाँ

Past Simple में सिर्फ़ बीच वाला कॉलम (V2) आता है: I saw her yesterday (I seen her नहीं), We went home (We gone home नहीं)। V3 वाला कॉलम have / has / had के बाद और passive में आता है — पाठ “Present perfect” देखें।
I bought some mangoes at the market and brought them to the party.
मैंने बाज़ार से कुछ आम ख़रीदे और उन्हें पार्टी में ले आया। (buy → bought; bring → brought)
We won the game — we beat the best team in the league.
हमने मैच जीत लिया — हमने लीग की सबसे अच्छी टीम को हरा दिया। (win + मैच या इनाम; beat + विरोधी)
I felt dizzy and nearly fell over.
मुझे चक्कर आया और मैं लगभग गिर पड़ा। (feel → felt; fall → fell)
I read that book last summer.
मैंने वह किताब पिछली गर्मियों में पढ़ी। (past वाले read की स्पेलिंग वही है, पर उच्चारण /red/ होता है)
4.प्रश्न और नकारात्मक
Past Simple की बाकी सभी क्रियाओं की तरह: did / didn't + मूल रूप। did आते ही अनियमित रूप गायब हो जाता है।
I didn't sleep well last night.
कल रात मुझे ठीक से नींद नहीं आई। (didn't slept नहीं)
Did you take your medicine?
क्या आपने अपनी दवा ली?
What did she say?
उसने क्या कहा?
How did you find out?
आपको यह कैसे पता चला?
अपवाद: जब who / what कर्ता हो (यानी वह व्यक्ति या चीज़ जो काम कर रही है), तो did नहीं आता और क्रिया V2 रूप में रहती है: Who told you? What happened? — पाठ “कर्ता और कर्म के बारे में प्रश्न” देखें।
5.आम गलतियाँ
I goed to the beach.I went to the beach.
