Wow, holy hell!

No TV, no light!

In my mind, there's nobody that can convince me that there's anything better than a Midwest summer.

I did come back to Minnesota for a good amount of the summer because I just love it here.

I feel so happy this time of year.

My point is this is going to be the best summer vlog you've ever seen in your life, besides my other summer vlogs from the years before.

I will romanticize anything

that is like possibly able to be romanticized at all times.

So even just getting a cup of coffee in Minnesota, I have to sit by the lake.

Lake.

Oh my God.

It's a river.

oh my god i went to this new coffee shop i

honestly forget the name of it let's do a little taste test wow pretty solid

and this time i did remember to wait to share it

with you guys i saw this as i was checking out

and i sort of panicked ordered it because i realized i was very hungry

this is good okay panic order gone right i sort of

have been thinking about how i'm in the age range now where every single time

that i go on social media i'm seeing an engagement

or a pregnancy announcement or possibly a move and someone buying a new house.

And people obviously aren't doing this to like make me feel bad or make anyone feel bad, but it really like subconsciously affects me.

I've noticed I feel sort of shitty about myself.

Can I say that?

Yeah, whatever.

I feel shitty about myself half the time

when I look at stuff like that because I immediately have the personality where I just like start to compare.

I don't know why I've always been this way.

Even in high school, I think comparison in my 20s is much worse than the comparison

that I had in high school in high school maybe it was like about grades

or like what calls you're getting into but in your 20s there are

so many different versions of accomplishments

and i feel like everyone has sort of a different value system with it the people

that like want to have a family really young i feel

like oh wait i'm supposed to already have kids at the age of 26

and i'm not even married

but then the next day i'll see someone who bought a house

and maybe that's their version of success

or someone else who's like traveling the world and single

and then i think that that's another different version of success

that I should have

so I don't even know why I'm why did I start

talking about this I don't know I'm trying to stay off social media

because I've been struggling recently with that and I think maybe

because I just turned 26 I'm especially feeling like the pressure

of time oh I think I just ate the tin foil

I'm going to go to the next one.

There's this vintage store that I love here.

It's called Revival.

I think it's kind of new, but they always have like the best curation and selection of like vintage pieces.

I'm going on a little lake trip soon so I want to see if there's like a cute swimsuit.

I just

got the coolest beach cover-up.

I actually don't think it's supposed to be for a beach cover-up but that's how I'm planning on using it.

I can't wait to show you guys.

Honestly, I don't really have a plan.

They have the cutest little boutiques and antique shops here.

and fresh i did not forget to show you guys the top i got

because this is probably one of my favorite vintage store thrift finds in a

while i did have such a perfect day today it was

so hot though it's like 95 degrees right now this is the top

that i got at the vintage shop i feel like i'm really hyping this up

but i thought it was so unique

and different i think the combination of these two colors plus the fact

that it's mesh is what really appealed to me

and I just immediately thought

that this would be perfect for sort of like a swimsuit cover-up moment especially

because I'm going on a lake trip in a couple days I thought this was perfect.

Anyways I'm home now I think my family and I are going to do a little bonfire tonight.

and my mom made chicken caesar wraps for us per my

request one of the best parts about going home is honestly

having my mom cook dinner again i never fully appreciated her cooking dinner for me until i turned 18

and moved out so when i'm home i love when she cooks here Here is the little spread.
