Lección 93 · Etapa 8: Adjetivos, adverbios y preposiciones
Orden de palabras: verbo + objeto, lugar, tiempo; adverbios de frecuencia
IntermedioWord order: verb + object, place, time; frequency adverbs
Forma y uso
I like coffee very much; we went to Hue last year; she always / often / never…
| Sujeto | Verbo | Objeto | Otros datos |
|---|---|---|---|
| I | like | coffee | very much. |
| Mai | plays | the piano | very well. |
| We | watched | a film | last night. |
| Did you | lock | the door | this morning? |
I like coffee very much.
Me gusta mucho el café. (no: I like very much coffee)
She speaks English very well.
Habla inglés muy bien. (no: speaks very well English)
I read the news every morning.
Leo las noticias todas las mañanas.
No pongas very antes de un verbo: “I very like it” está mal. Di I really like it, I like it very much o I love it.
| Sujeto | Verbo (+ objeto) | Lugar | Tiempo |
|---|---|---|---|
| We | went | to Hue | last year. |
| My mum | walks | to work | every morning. |
| They | took the kids | to the zoo | on Sunday. |
| I've | lived | in this flat | for three years. |
We went to Da Nang last summer.
Fuimos a Da Nang el verano pasado. (lugar → tiempo)
My family moved to Hanoi in 2018.
Mi familia se mudó a Hanói en 2018.
Last year, we went to Hue.
She sang beautifully at the party last night.
Pero normalmente no lo pongas entre el verbo y su objeto o el lugar: di I went to Hue last year, no “I went last year to Hue”.
3.Adverbios en medio de la oración
Algunos adverbios cortos suelen ir en medio de la oración, junto al verbo: los adverbios de frecuencia (always, usually, often, sometimes, rarely, never) y también also, already, still, just, even, probably, really. Dónde van depende del verbo:
| El verbo | Dónde va el adverbio | Ejemplo |
|---|---|---|
| Un verbo normal | antes del verbo | My mum always walks to work. |
| be (am / is / are / was / were) | después de be | Minh is always at the gym on Mondays. |
| Auxiliar o modal + verbo | después del primer auxiliar | We have already eaten. / I can never find my keys. |
| Negativa con don't / doesn't / didn't | después de don't / doesn't / didn't | I don't usually eat breakfast. |
- Antes de have to: I always have to get up early.
(I'll probably not come también es posible, pero no “I won't probably come”).
- Sometimes y usually también pueden ir al principio: Sometimes I work from home.
- All y both siguen la misma regla: We all love pho. My sisters are both nurses.
- En las preguntas, el adverbio va después del sujeto: Do you often cook? Have you ever been to Sa Pa?
Lan often drinks green tea in the afternoon.
My brother is never on time.
Mi hermano nunca llega a tiempo.
I speak English, and I can also speak a little French.
We have already booked the tickets.
Ya hemos reservado las entradas.
My sisters are both nurses.
4.Errores comunes
I very like this song.I really like this song. / I like this song very much.
very no va antes de un verbo.
She speaks very well English. She speaks English very well.
El verbo y su objeto van juntos.
We go usually to the market on Sundays. We usually go to the market on Sundays.
He drinks every morning coffee. He drinks coffee every morning.
Primero el objeto, luego el tiempo.
They arrived last night at the hotel. They arrived at the hotel last night.
I have always to get up early.I always have to get up early.
El adverbio va antes de have to.
