2
Alex, I'm so excited.
3
I started my new job on Monday.
4
Congratulations!
5
So do you drive there every day?
6
No need.
7
It's a ten -minute walk, and if it rains, I take the bus.
8
There's a bus stop just outside the office.
9
You're lucky.
10
I spend so much time and money driving to work.
11
But that's not my problem.
12
Now you have left the office, I have no one to talk to.
13
Everyone's so boring.
14
I know, that's one of the main reasons I left.
15
And the money, of course.
16
£19 ,500 was good. But...
17
£22 ,500 is better and I save another £3 ,000 as I'm closer to home.
18
Do you still answer calls and send emails?
19
I do, but I also have to be with the manager when he's in a meeting.
20
It's tiring, but so much better than sitting at my desk all day.
21
Well, Linda, I'd love to do that.
22
I wish Miss Pierce would give us something new to work on.
23
Why don't you talk to her?
24
She'd never change her mind.
25
I think I'd better do what you did.
26
I couldn't agree more.
27
Now, listen again.
28
Alex, I'm so excited!
