Creazione lezione...
1
Hey guys, I have a special guest here that wants to say hi to you guys.
2
Her name is Kat the human.
3
Look, I'm gonna say hi.
4
The first tip I want to give you guys
5
when it comes to making new friends is having a common interest with someone.
6
There's so many people in this world and I'm pretty sure you guys walk past hundreds of people all the time.
7
How do you know that you have something in common with them?
8
How do you know if that person is going to be your friend?
9
You don't.
10
That's kind of the whole point of life is not knowing what's going to happen
11
and not knowing who you're going to meet.
12
But I think if you open yourself up to it
13
and you are showing people that you have a certain interest that you like, there's going to be certain people who are very like-minded like yourself that's going to pick up on it.
14
Don't underestimate the power of having a sense of common interest because it really does bring people together.
15
It doesn't necessarily mean you have to have everything in common.
16
If they're speaking to you, if they're making a comment like, oh my gosh, I love that song, oh my gosh, I love your shirt, tell them where you got it, I love your jeans too, where did you get that?
17
Bam!
18
Already right there, you have common interest with that person, so what do you do from there?
19
You engage, and that's the next step.
20
You're not going to be able to make friends if you're not the one actively engaging with them too.
21
Ask them questions.
22
I mean, if you're actively engaging with them, they're going to engage back with you and that's when you can really make that connection.
23
And that's step number three.
24
Connect with that person.
25
You can add them on Instagram or Facebook and that's
26
when you will know if this is someone that really wants you in their life or vice versa.
27
Give them an email.
28
I mean you don't really need to exchange numbers right away.
29
It can just be as simple as, hey you have Instagram, can I follow you, is that cool?
30
I think it's polite to show that you're asking to follow them.
31
Friendship is not just one thing.
32
There's different levels of friendship.
33
But how do you know if this person is more than an acquaintance?
34
Is when you're constantly texting them or you're chatting with them online, you're video chatting with them, you're sending them links and messages.
35
If you're honestly dialoguing all the time, that's when you know that, hey, you know what?
36
This person might be a cool friend.
37
That's when you can go to step number four, which is exploring.
38
Go out with them.
39
Go try a new restaurant, go watch a new movie with them.
40
That's why it's called exploring.
41
It's because you're doing something new and fun with them.
42
And I also feel like, you know, when you explore something with a friend, it's memories that you're creating together.
43
And the final step is sharing.
44
Share secrets, share an intimate moment.
45
After you share something with that person, that's when you can really establish trust.
46
Like, I trust you now because I shared something really important to me, and I shared it with you, you respected it, and now I can trust you.
47
And once you establish trust, it's like the best feeling ever.
48
Friendship is not simple.
49
There's a lot of hard work, a lot of time and commitment.
50
It's like a part-time job.
51
You have to put your hours and you have to commit to it or else it's not really a friendship.
52
It's a two-way thing.
53
I'm not saying every day you need to do something with them, but I think send them a text message or an email saying, you know, I'm thinking about you, because sometimes life gets in the way.
54
And when it comes to life, things will change.
55
You will change.
56
You're gonna constantly evolve.
57
You might think, I would never do this one thing, but then you do it, and you change.
58
Or I never believe in this one thing, but then you believe it.
59
And that's what happens, people change.
60
And when people change, friendships can change, unless you change with them.
61
And so just put that in the back of your head when there's gonna be a time where you're questioning your friendship.
62
And don't blame it on yourself because that's part of life.
63
You're changing, things will change.
64
And you can't get mad at that
65
because you have to kind of just go with it and accept it and move on.
66
You know, enjoy the fun moments you had together.
67
Don't dwell on the past.
68
And also, don't beat yourself up if you don't have five million friends.
69
That's not the point.
70
It's about quality, not quantity.
71
I'd rather have one amazing best friend than a hundred fake friends.
72
And that one friend you have, Hold on to that person, love them and respect them.
73
And if it's time to let go because things change, just let it go and just keep moving forward.
74
So best of luck to you guys.
75
I love you so much.
76
Good luck and I will see you in my next video.
77
And remember, even though we are friends online and we may not have ever met each other, I do think about you guys.
78
I pray for you guys.
79
I send positive thoughts out to you because I truly believe there is goodness in every single soul.
80
Deep down, if you keep digging, there's light inside there.
81
And we have to remember that everyone carries light within them.
82
We just have to seek it and find it.
83
and inspire them to shine even brighter.
84
That was cheesy too.
85
Bye guys.
86
I love you.
87
Bye!
88
You wanna go?
89
Go on.
90
Oh yes, show your butthole in my face.
91
That's lovely.
92
Bye!
93
Okay, so I have hair all over.
94
See, that's the downside of having a cat.
95
I have like a million cat hairs on me.
96
And I have it in my mouth.
97
Cat lovers, you can understand.
98
with Buddy and crossed roads with a Christine.
99
And she told us about her children.
100
Yeah, she told us about her dreams.
