UAV technology is a new and practical solution in Vietnam.

We have deployed an uncrewed aerial vehicle system to monitor illegal waste dumping, soil disposal and construction debris in polluted areas around Hanoi.

Each flight requires three personnel and typically lasts between 35 and 45 minutes.

After nearly three months, monitoring has improved significantly by combining satellite imagery with UAV data,

enabling authorities to accurately identify pollution hotspots in time and space and respond promptly.

Regarding air quality, the National Remote Sensing Department is currently implementing monitoring of transparent air pollution sources.

For Hanoi, we are using optical remote sensing data to monitor large construction sites.

Based on these data, we then conduct on-site inspection and deploy UAVs, allowing us to carry out more details and targeted monitoring.
