Lektion 28 · Etappe 3: Pläne, Bitten & Vergleiche
Zukunft mit „going to“
AnfängerFuture with “going to”
Form & Gebrauch
be going to + Verb – ein Plan oder etwas, das sich abzeichnet
1.Form
am / is / are + going to + Grundform.
| Subjekt | Bejaht | Verneint | Frage |
|---|---|---|---|
| I | I'm going to stay | I'm not going to stay | Am I going to stay? |
| he / she / it | she's going to stay | she isn't going to stay | Is she going to stay? |
| we / you / they | they're going to stay | they aren't going to stay | Are they going to stay? |
W-Fragen: What are you going to cook? Who is going to drive? Kurzantworten: Yes, I am. / No, she isn't. I'm going to go… ist völlig korrekt, auch wenn es doppelt klingt.
Zwei häufige Ausrutscher: be vergessen (I going to…) und to vergessen oder das Verb danach verändern (going to moving). Beim schnellen Sprechen klingt going to oft wie gonna — schreib gonna nur in lockeren Nachrichten.
2.Wann du es benutzt
I'm going to learn to swim this summer.
Diesen Sommer will ich schwimmen lernen.
Why are you buying paint? — I'm going to paint my bedroom.
Warum kaufst du Farbe? — Ich will mein Schlafzimmer streichen.
We're not going to buy a car this year. It's too expensive.
Dieses Jahr kaufen wir kein Auto. Das ist zu teuer.
2. Vorhersagen aufgrund dessen, was du gerade siehst
Look at the sky over the river. It's going to rain.
Careful! You're going to spill your coffee.
Vorsicht! Du verschüttest gleich deinen Kaffee.
It's 8:55 and class starts at nine. We're going to be late.
3. Absichten in der Vergangenheit: was / were going to — meist etwas, das am Ende nicht passiert ist (siehe die Lektion „Was going to“)
I was going to call you last night, but my phone died.
3.Going to oder will?
| be going to | will | |
|---|---|---|
| Beispiel | I'm going to buy a new phone. I've saved enough. | Oh, this one's on sale! I'll take it. |
| Beispiel | Look at that queue! We're going to wait for ages. | I think the new café will do well. |
Vergleiche dieselbe Situation:
We're out of milk. — I know. I'm going to get some after work.
Wir haben keine Milch mehr. — Ich weiß. Ich hole nach der Arbeit welche. (vorher beschlossen)
We're out of milk. — Oh, are we? I'll get some.
Wir haben keine Milch mehr. — Oh, echt? Dann hole ich welche. (gerade eben beschlossen)
I think it'll be hot tomorrow = I think it's going to be hot tomorrow.
Ja → going to. Ich entscheide gerade jetzt → will.
4.Typische Fehler
I going to call you tomorrow.I'm going to call you tomorrow.
