  • "I think the next bus should arrive in about 10 minutes, but sometimes it comes a little late during rush hour" (Per rispondere a domande su orari di mezzi pubblici).
  • "I'm not completely sure, but according to the schedule, it should be here at around 3:15" (Per esprimere incertezza con dati concreti).
  • "I'd like to go downtown near Main Street, close to the library, please" (Per indicare un destino con dettagli geografici).
  • "Go straight for two blocks, then turn right at the traffic light and the bank will be on your left" (Per dare indicazioni semplici).
  • "Anywhere quiet is fine with me. Maybe a park or somewhere by the water where we can walk and get some fresh air" (Per esprimere preferenze in modo flessibile).

Correggi i tuoi punti deboli

Ad esempio, nella frase "I'm not completely sure, but according to the schedule...", la pausa dopo "but" crea un flusso naturale.
