good at, interested in, afraid of, worried about — صفات بحرف جر ثابت
1.التركيب
كثير من الصفات تأخذ حرف جر ثابتًا عندما يتبعها شيء: صفة + حرف جر + اسم / ضمير / -ing. ولا يمكنك عادةً تخمين حرف الجر، فتعلّم العبارة كاملة: تعلّم afraid of، لا afraid وحدها.

بعد حرف الجر يأتي الفعل دائمًا بصيغة -ing: interested in learning، good at drawing، tired of waiting (وليس in learn / at draw). انظر درس “حرف جر + -ing”.

3.صفة واحدة وحروف جر مختلفة
بعض الصفات يتغير حرف الجر بعدها بحسب ما إذا تبعها شخص أو شيء — أو يتغير المعنى.

4.الفروق البريطانية / الأمريكية والصيغ غير الرسمية
- different from صحيحة في كل مكان؛ ويقول البريطانيون أيضًا different to، ويقول الأمريكيون كثيرًا different than.
- angry with شخص هي الصيغة البريطانية القياسية؛ و angry at شخص شائعة جدًا في الإنجليزية الأمريكية.
- surprised / shocked / amazed at أو by كلتاهما صحيحة.
- bored with هي الصيغة القياسية؛ و bored of شائعة جدًا في الكلام اليومي.
- married to تأتي مع be / get: She got married to a man from Hue. لكن الفعل marry لا يأخذ حرف جر: She married him.
لا تترجم حرف الجر من العربية — فهو غالبًا مختلف في الإنجليزية: نقول «خائف من» و«متزوج من»، لكن بالإنجليزية afraid of و married to (لا from ولا with)، وكذلك good at و similar to. تعلّم كل صفة مع حرف جرها كوحدة واحدة.
5.أخطاء شائعة
I'm not interested about football.I'm not interested in football.
interested تأخذ in دائمًا.
She is married with an engineer from Hue.She is married to an engineer from Hue.
be married to + شخص.
My parents are angry on me.My parents are angry with me.
الغضب من شخص → angry with (في الأمريكية: angry at).
Your phone is similar with mine.Your phone is similar to mine.

بعد حرف الجر استخدم -ing.
