1

2
here at Bart's Fishtails we're going to make a salad of grilled octopus
3
and grilled avocado so here we have octopus which is already cooked and
4
if you want to know how to cook octopus click here
5
the first step what we're going to do is grill some avocado So I scoop the avocado meat loose from the skin,
6
so now I cut them in slices of around half a centimeter, maybe a bit wider.
7
This is actually for two persons, I would use like half an avocado per person.
8
Drizzle some olive oil in a bowl, and I add these avocado parts with a bit of salt.
9
A bit of pepper, and a tiny bit of lime juice, give this a toss.
10
So I heat my grill pan on high heat, so I add these pieces of avocado on the grill.
11
And I leave them there for two minutes, it will give it like a really nice roasted taste.
12
So I turn them around, oh, beautiful.
13
So meanwhile, I'm going to make the dressing, add like one teaspoon of Dijon mustard in a small jar,
14
two and a half tablespoon of really good olive oil,
15
the juice of one lime. So beautifully grilled.
16
Now I'm going to add some chopped parsley, and chop it really fine.
17
So I add this into my jar, and a bit of salt, okay, and now shake it,
18
perfect,
19
so the avocado is grilled we have the dressing ready
20
and now it's time for the hero the pre -cooked octopus
21
i'm going to drizzle it with a bit of extra virgin olive oil a bit of salt and some pepper
22
i bring the grill again to high heat i've cleaned the pan meanwhile
23
and i give this a toss so what is now important
24
because the octopus is already cooked
25
so you want to give it like a a nice color from the outside
26
so you really heat it you grill it really short
27
so the outside is nicely caramelized and the inside will stay juicy and tender lovely sound
28
so turn them around oh wow really really nice
29
beautiful look at this this is amazing guys perfectly grilled
30
so i let it cool down just a bit
31
so i cut the bigger ones in half beautiful this is fantastic fantastico
32
so now i take a few cherry tomatoes
33
and i cut them in half again i chop some parsley for the decoration
34
okay so now we're going to finish off the dish i'm going to add the beautifully grilled pulpo
35
and i add a bit of vinaigrette a bit of the dressing tomatoes
36
and i'm going to add the dressing and a tiny bit of smoked paprika powder stunning colors a real summer dish
37
this is roasted taste the smoothness of the avocado the silkiness of the avocado
38
and caramelized pulpo octopus from the outside and it's really soft
39
