He seems pretty fit though and whenever I see him at the weekends he looks relaxed and happy.
35
Maybe he just likes getting everything done before he goes home.
36
Yeah, maybe you're right.
37
But he earns just the same as we do, and that's not much.

57
I wish the words would simply flow out like they did when I was writing my other books.
58
Sometimes I wondered if I'd ever get it finished.
59
Of course, I know it's unlikely to become a bestseller, but I hope that my loyal readers will enjoy it.
60
They'll recognize some of the characters from my first novel.

Oh, come on.
77
You have to admit, it was pretty funny.
78
Well, I didn't think so.
79

I think you're too serious sometimes.

It was just a bit of fun.

I don't find that a problem, though, and I enjoy the fact that I can get it done effectively.
103
After all, I've been in this job for a long time, so I think I can say I know what I'm doing.
104
I wish that was true of the people I'm working with.
105
I reckon if I didn't keep checking, they'd never get on with things.
106
Though I guess I'm not feeling very motivated about this project either.

There was plenty to choose from.
124
There may have been for you, but don't forget, I'm a vegetarian.
125
There wasn't much there for me.
126
But at least we haven't paid a fortune for it.
127

146
They go to some interesting places, and they actually do pretty well considering they don't have expensive equipment or any training as photographers.
147
I wish I could remember the name of the place they went to this summer.
148
'Mmm, that's really annoying.
149
I should have written it down.' I'll have to ask them next time I see them.

Spanish flamenco music just makes you want to get up and dance.
163
I noticed you standing up at one stage.

Yeah, but that was to get a better view.
165
Ah, yes.

Pity we were at the back.
167
But it was all that was available when I bought the tickets on Friday.
168
I know, but next time we must book earlier.

It was very hot in there.

Was du lernst

Zum Beispiel: "I've only been acting" wird oft zu "I've only bin acting" (Linking von "been" und "acting"), oder "he earns just the same as we do" klingt wie "he earns jus' the same as we do" (Reduktion von "just" zu "jus'").
