动词 + 人 + to 不定式

要说你想让别人做某事（want、ask、tell、advise…），用 动词 + 宾语（人）+ to + 动词。人要用宾格：me、you、him、her、us、them 或人名。

💡中文说“我想要你来”，学习者常说成 “I want that you come” 或 “I want you come”。英语三个部分缺一不可：want + you + to come。人要用宾格：want him（不是 he）to come。

1. 想要、期望、需要：want、would like、expect、need

• My parents want me to study medicine.

  我父母想让我学医。

• I'd like you to meet my cousin, Hoa.

  我想让你见见我表妹阿花。

• The coach expects us to train every morning.

  教练要求我们每天早上训练。

2. 请求、告诉、提醒、邀请：ask、tell、remind、beg、invite、help

• Can you remind me to buy some eggs?

  你能提醒我买些鸡蛋吗？

• The teacher told us not to use dictionaries.

  老师叫我们不要用词典。

• Minh invited me to join his band.

  阿明邀请我加入他的乐队。

3. 建议、说服、鼓励、警告：advise、encourage、persuade、convince、warn、urge

• The doctor advised me to get more sleep.

  医生建议我多睡觉。

• My friends persuaded me to try karaoke.

  朋友们说服我去试试卡拉 OK。

• They warned us not to swim after dark.

  他们警告我们天黑后不要游泳。

4. 允许、强迫、使能够、教：allow、permit、force、enable、teach、get（= 说服，口语）

• The rain forced us to stay indoors.

  下雨迫使我们待在屋里。

• This app allows you to track your spending.

  这个应用可以让你记录自己的开销。

• My grandpa taught me to fish.

  我爷爷教我钓鱼。

• I finally got my brother to clean his room.

  我终于让我弟弟把房间收拾了。

有些意思相近的动词不能接“人 + to + 动词”，要用别的句型。make 和 let 接“人 + 动词原形”，没有 to——见“‘make / let’ 某人做某事”一课。

advise、allow、permit、encourage：动词后面有人 → to + 动词；没有人 → -ing。recommend 最稳妥的用法是 -ing 或 that 从句：I recommend booking early / I recommend (that) you book early。

• I'd advise you to bring a raincoat. / I'd advise bringing a raincoat.

  我建议你带件雨衣。/ 建议带件雨衣。

• They don't allow people to park here. / They don't allow parking here.

  这里不允许人们停车。/ 这里禁止停车。

被动语态非常常见：be allowed to、be asked to、be told to、be advised to、be expected to。

• You're not allowed to bring food into the cinema.

  电影院里不允许带食物。

• Passengers are asked to keep their bags with them.

  请乘客随身携带行李。

💡转述请求和命令时也用这个句型：“Please sit down,” she said. → She asked me to sit down. “Don't be late!” → He told us not to be late. 另见“间接引语”一课。

• ✗I want you come early tomorrow.

  ✓I want you to come early tomorrow.

  缺了 to。

• ✗My parents want that I become a doctor.

  ✓My parents want me to become a doctor.

  want 不能接 that 从句。

• ✗She told me don't worry.

  ✓She told me not to worry.

  否定式是 not to + 动词。

• ✗He said me to wait outside.

  ✓He told me to wait outside.

  say 不能接“人 + to”；要用 tell。

• ✗The doctor suggested me to rest.

  ✓The doctor advised me to rest. / The doctor suggested (that) I rest.

  suggest 不能接“人 + to”。

• ✗They don't allow to smoke here.

  ✓They don't allow smoking here. / They don't allow people to smoke here.

  allow 要接“人 + to + 动词”，或者接 -ing。
