on time = देर नहीं, in time = समय रहते; at the end of = आख़िरी हिस्सा, in the end = आख़िरकार
1.On time और in time
on time = तय समय पर, समय-सारिणी या तय कार्यक्रम के अनुसार — देर से नहीं। यह ट्रेन, बस, मीटिंग, क्लास और डेडलाइन के साथ आम है। इसका उल्टा late है।
The train left on time, at 8:00 exactly.
ट्रेन ठीक समय पर, बिल्कुल 8:00 बजे निकली।
Please be on time tomorrow. The meeting starts at nine.
कृपया कल समय पर आइए। मीटिंग नौ बजे शुरू होगी।
Hai is never on time. He's always ten minutes late.
हाई कभी समय पर नहीं आता। वह हमेशा दस मिनट देर से आता है।
in time = कुछ करने के लिए या कुछ होने से पहले काफ़ी जल्दी। दो आम ढाँचे: in time for + संज्ञा और in time to + क्रिया का मूल रूप। इसका उल्टा too late है।
We got to the cinema in time for the start of the film.
हम फ़िल्म शुरू होने से पहले समय रहते सिनेमा पहुँच गए।

एक आसान जाँच: पूछें “क्या यह तय कार्यक्रम के हिसाब से देर से हुआ?” → on time। पूछें “क्या यह कुछ करने के लिए काफ़ी जल्दी था?” → in time।
2.Just in time, in good time, in time = आख़िरकार
- just in time = बस किसी तरह समय पर; एक पल बाद होता तो बहुत देर हो जाती।
- in good time (ज़्यादातर ब्रिटिश) = जल्दी, समय से काफ़ी पहले।
- अकेले in time का मतलब आख़िरकार, कुछ समय बाद भी हो सकता है — इसका किसी समय-सारिणी से कोई लेना-देना नहीं।
- इन अर्थों में किसी भी वाक्यांश के साथ article नहीं आता: “on the time” या “in the time” नहीं।
The ambulance arrived just in time.

We left early and got to the airport in good time.
हम जल्दी निकले और समय से काफ़ी पहले एयरपोर्ट पहुँच गए।

3.At the end और in the end
at the end (of something) = किसी अवधि, घटना या जगह के आख़िरी हिस्से में। इसके साथ आमतौर पर of आता है: at the end of the month / the film / the class / the street। जब मतलब साफ़ हो, तो of … वाला हिस्सा हटाया जा सकता है।
We pay the rent at the end of the month.
हम महीने के आख़िर में किराया देते हैं।
Everyone cried at the end of the film.
फ़िल्म के अंत में सब रो पड़े।
Our house is at the end of the street.
हमारा घर गली के आख़िरी छोर पर है। (जगह के लिए भी at the end of)
I'll answer your questions at the end.
मैं आख़िर में आपके सवालों के जवाब दूँगा।
in the end = आख़िरकार, अंत में — एक लंबी प्रक्रिया, कई बदलावों, शंकाओं या मुश्किलों के बाद का नतीजा। यह आमतौर पर वाक्य की शुरुआत या आख़िर में आता है, और इसके बाद of नहीं आता।
We couldn't decide where to go, so in the end we stayed at home.
हम तय नहीं कर पाए कि कहाँ जाएँ, इसलिए आख़िरकार हम घर पर ही रहे।
The exam was really hard, but in the end I passed.
परीक्षा सच में बहुत कठिन थी, लेकिन आख़िरकार मैं पास हो गया।
He said he wasn't coming, but he came in the end.

अगर बाद में of आए, तो लगभग पक्का at लगेगा: at the end of the film, “in the end of the film” नहीं। In the end अकेला आता है और इसका मतलब है “आख़िरकार”।
4.Beginning, end, at last, finally

In the beginning इस बात पर ज़ोर देता है कि “शुरू में ऐसा था, बाद में बदल गया”, at first की तरह। At the beginning of + कोई ख़ास समय या चीज़ का मतलब बस उसका पहला हिस्सा है।
In the beginning, living alone was hard, but now I love it.
शुरू-शुरू में अकेले रहना मुश्किल था, लेकिन अब मुझे यह बहुत पसंद है।
The rainy season starts at the beginning of May.

5.आम गलतियाँ
The concert started in time, at exactly 7 p.m.The concert started on time, at exactly 7 p.m.
तय समय पर → on time।

कुछ करने के लिए काफ़ी जल्दी → in time to + क्रिया।

लंबी प्रक्रिया के बाद का नतीजा → in the end।
In the end of the film, the hero dies.At the end of the film, the hero dies.
किसी चीज़ का आख़िरी हिस्सा → at the end of।
