5
I wanted to give a big presentation at school.
6
I worked hard, I wrote many notes, and I practiced in front of the mirror.
7
Still, on the day of the presentation, I felt nervous.
8
My hands were shaking, and when I started speaking, I forgot some of my words.
9
My face turned red, and I sat down too early.
10
In that moment, I felt so small.
11
I thought, I am not good enough.
12
Everyone will laugh at me For the rest of the day,
13
I stayed quiet Inside, I was afraid that my mistake showed my true self Weak and not smart
14
That night, my best friend called me She said, I saw your presentation Yes,
15
you forgot some words, but I also saw your effort.
16
You tried, and that is brave.
