形容詞 + 介詞

很多形容詞後面接內容時，要搭配固定的介詞：形容詞 + 介詞 + 名詞 / 代詞 / -ing。介詞通常沒法猜，所以要整塊記：記 afraid of，而不是隻記 afraid。

💡介詞後面的動詞一定用 -ing 形式：interested in learning，good at drawing，tired of waiting（不說 in learn / at draw）。見“介詞 + -ing”一課。

• Minh is good at maths, but he's bad at remembering names.

  阿明數學很好，但他很不擅長記名字。

• Are you ready for the trip?

  旅行的東西你準備好了嗎？

• I'm tired of eating instant noodles every day.

  天天吃泡麵，我已經吃膩了。

• Your phone is similar to mine.

  你的手機和我的很像。

• I'm so excited about the holiday!

  我好期待這個假期！

有些形容詞後面跟的是人還是事物，介詞就不同——或者意思會變。

• It was really nice of you to call.

  你能打電話來，真是太好了。

• Please be polite to the customers.

  請對顧客禮貌一點。

• Swimming is good for your back.

  游泳對你的背有好處。

• different from 在哪裡都可以用；英國人也說 different to，美國人常說 different than。
• angry with someone 是標準的英式用法；angry at someone 在美式英語中很常見。
• surprised / shocked / amazed at 或 by 都對。
• bored with 是標準形式；bored of 在日常口語中很常見。
• married to 和 be / get 連用：She got married to a man from Hue. 但動詞 marry 後面不加介詞：She married him.

💡不要按中文直譯介詞——英語裡常常不一樣：中文說“和他結婚”，英語是 married to（不是 with）；“擅長” → good at，“和…相似” → similar to，“害怕” → afraid of。把每個形容詞和它的介詞當作一個整體來記。

• ✗I'm not interested about football.

  ✓I'm not interested in football.

  interested 總是搭配 in。

• ✗She is married with an engineer from Hue.

  ✓She is married to an engineer from Hue.

  be married to + 人。

• ✗My parents are angry on me.

  ✓My parents are angry with me.

  生某人的氣用 angry with（美式：angry at）。

• ✗Your phone is similar with mine.

  ✓Your phone is similar to mine.

  similar to。

• ✗He's good in playing the guitar.

  ✓He's good at playing the guitar.

  擅長某事：good at + -ing。

• ✗I'm interested in learn Chinese.

  ✓I'm interested in learning Chinese.

  介詞後面用 -ing。
