What is the girl going to do on Saturday?
12
I'm really looking forward to Luke's party on Saturday night.
13
His brother's band's playing at it, you know.
14
Can we pick you up on the way?
15
I meant to tell you.
16
My mum's arranged for us to visit my grandpa that evening.
17
She planned it ages ago.
18
Give Luke a big hug from me, though, won't you?
19
I will.
20
Saturday's busy for lots of people.
21
The school film club's showing that sci-fi film we were talking about, too.
22
Really?
23
Really?
24
We must get to see that sometime.
25
It sounds great.

2. What does the boy need to get for his camping trip?
41
What do we need to organise for your camping trip?
42
That tent of yours is no good.
43
I know, Mum.
44
I was going to look online and find another one, cos it's full of holes.
45
But Steve suggested I share his.
46
Oh, good idea.
47
And your boots?
48
Just look at them.
49
I doubt they'll still fit.
50
Oh, let's replace them.
51
Anne will get you a proper torch.
52
Not that toy thing you've got.
53
Oh, don't worry about that.
54
Dad's lending me his one.
55
The light's amazingly bright.
56
Now listen again.

72
Who is in the photo?
73
Do you want to see my holiday photos?
74
Sure.
75
Wow!
76
Looks like a great place you went to.
77
Is that your cousin?
78
He looks different from how I remember.
79
I'm sure he didn't have a moustache the last time I saw him.
80
That was ages ago.
81
He's grown up a lot since then.
82
He used to have quite long hair as well, down to his shoulders.
83
I remember now.
84
It suits him shorter.
85
You actually look quite similar now.
86
A lot of people say that.

4. Where is the boys' sports bag?
103
Hi, Mum.
104
It's Paul.
105
Can you help me?
106
I haven't got my sports bag at school and we're playing volleyball later.
107
I know where it is.
108
I put it next to the wardrobe in my room
109
because Dad said it was in the way next to the table in the living room.
110
Anyway, you should find it.
111
Please can you bring it over to school?
112
I don't want to get into trouble.
113
Next week I'll put it by the front door so I won't forget it.
114
Thanks.

128
What is the boy going to do at the running event?
129
So, have you signed up to enter the fun run?
130
Oh, didn't you know?
131
I've got a problem with my knee, so I'm out of this year's race.
132
But I'll be waiting at the finish line ready to get some good pictures of the runners.
133
For the school magazine?
134
Yeah.
135
I was asked to be one of the people giving out water bottles along the route.
136
I'm going to do that.
137
Right.
138
But what I'm doing will make me feel more part of the race somehow.
139
Now listen again.

6. Where will the friends meet?
151
I'm going to the library tomorrow afternoon to work on that geography project.
152
Do you want to meet there?
153
I ought to do something on it too.
154
I'm supposed to see Lisa in the cafe at the station, though if I don't stay long with her I could still come.
155
I'm not really sure because she wants to discuss something.
156
Well, it's up to you.
157
I'll come over to meet you afterwards, but I'll have to get the train home about four.
158
I'll get the train back too.

169
What is the earliest time today's football match could start?
170
I'm afraid today's football match will be postponed until a bit later.
171
The original start time was 11 this morning, but due to the very bad weather conditions, we're going to see what's happening in the next hour or so,
172
around midday, and make a decision then.
173
If it stopped raining heavily at that time, we can start immediately.
174
If not, maybe we can begin playing at 1.
175
If we can't do that, we'll have to cancel.
176
Now listen again.
