Creazione lezione...
1
This is a short guided meditation to help us to enjoy our tea or our coffee in mindfulness.
2
Find a quiet place to sit with your coffee or your tea.
3
and put it down in front of you or beside you.
4
Take a deep in -breath and let it out slowly.
5
feeling your shoulders drop as the air leaves your nostrils.
6
Take three long in -breaths and out -breaths like that.
7
Now allow your breathing to come in and out naturally, but pay attention to the sensation of the breath coming in and out.
8
from the nostrils, down to the belly which rises with the in -breath, feel the belly falling with the out breath,
9
and feel the air leaving the nostrils.
10
Pay attention to any sound the air may be making as it comes in and out.
11
And as distracting thoughts come up, Just...
12
gently recognize them.
13
and then bring your attention back to your breath.
14
without any judgment or irritation.
15
Continue to breathe in and out mindfully.
16
Now gently reach out with both hands, paying attention to every movement of your hands, arms, and your whole body.
17
and pick up your cup of tea or coffee.
18
Hold the cup gently in your two hands, and feel the warmth of the liquid within penetrating into your hands.
19
Be aware for a moment of this warmth.
20
and where it has come from.
21
of all the transformations of energy that were made to bring you this warmth.
22
Slowly bring the cup up to your face.
23
and just inhale the aroma of the tea or the coffee.
24
Enjoy the fragrance of it.
25
Savor it, and think for a moment about where the beans, or the tea leaves, or the fragrant herbs were grown.
26
In what climate?
27
at what altitude, and so on.
28
maintaining your awareness of the in -breath, and the out -breath.
29
Take a sip of your tea or coffee and let it linger for a moment in your mouth.
30
This water was once a cloud in the sky, and it fell as rain and flowed down through creeks and streams and rivers.
31
to be collected in a reservoir, or it filtered down through the deep rocks and then bubbled up as a spring.
32
Right now you are drinking A cloud.
33
Life is beautiful.
34
Life is poetry.
35
And when you see the cloud in your tea, or your coffee.
36
you also become a poet.
37
You may like to become aware of all the causes and conditions that have brought you this cup of tea or coffee.
38
including the clouds, the rain, The sun.
39
The wind and the whole planet Earth.
40
as well as the labor of the farmers.
41
the harvesting, the roasting, the the packaging, the transportation, the marketing, and the brewing of the cup of tea or coffee that is now in your hands.
42
The whole cosmos has come together to bring you this cup of tea, or coffee.
43
Bis kapp.
44
In your two hands is a gift from the whole cosmos, It is an ambassador from the cosmos.
45
inviting you to wake up.
46
and live deeply this, present moment.
47
As you continue to enjoy your tea or coffee, Take a moment from time to time just to breathe in and out.
48
fully aware of the movement and the sensations of your breath.
49
Every breath taken in mindfulness like that strengthens the energy of mindfulness in our consciousness.
50
And this in turn allows us to look more deeply into what is happening in the present moment.
51
What is happening in this moment is that you are drinking a cup of tea Or coffee.
52
If you drink in mindfulness, fully aware of all the sensations and feelings arising in the moment, then that is mindfulness of drinking.
53
You can apply this kind of awareness to any act throughout your day.
54
and you may make the discovery.
55
that mindfulness is a source of happiness.
56
please enjoy drinking your cloud.
57
Thank you.
